Join us for the next in our series of Research Roundtable webinars when we’ll be hearing from the experts and people with lived experience on the topic of epilepsy diagnosis.

Getting the right diagnosis can be challenging and may take months, or even years. In this webinar, we’ll be looking at why it’s so important that everyone gets the right diagnosis as quickly as possible, and how ERUK-funded research may lead to future innovations in diagnostics.

The session is open to everyone and will be held at 12pm on Thursday 29th July. So, whether you are affected by epilepsy, researching epilepsy or just interested to learn more, we hope you can join us.

Epilepsy Research UK webinars are often filled before the event, so register now to avoid disappointment!

Our fantastic guest speakers include:

Amanda, who will be sharing her experience of achieving an accurate diagnosis for her infant son thanks to a new tool called vCreate Neuro, developed by Professor Sameer Zuberi and colleagues, and with support from Epilepsy Research UK.

Professor John Terry, who will explain how research carried out by himself and Dr Wessel Woldman is using mathematics to develop a seizure risk score to aid accurate diagnosis.

Dr Eleonora Lugara, who will explain how a new ‘breathalyser’ test she is developing could help diagnose epilepsy in emergency situations.

There will be a Q&A session with the speakers after the presentations, so please send any questions you may have to our Head of Research, Caoimhe Twohig-Bennett here.
