John and Lynne raise money for research in memory of their daughter Ellen and the whole family are valued Epilepsy Research UK supporters. They have had to postpone their Butterfly Ball once again this year due to COVID-19 restrictions but that didn’t stop them from fundraising.

Last year John took part in our #6forthe600 challenge by doing 60 rounds of 6 different exercises (spinning, kettlercise, rowing, TRX running and punch bag) for 600 minutes. We thought that was a tough challenge – but this year John upped the stakes!

He completed 60 rounds of 600M alternating between the Assault Air Bike, the Ski Erg and the treadmill. Each machine was followed by 60 reps of either squats, press ups, TRX pull ups, shoulder presses, ab crunches or reverse ab crunches, and then 6 reps of burpee broad jumps. Phew – we feel tired just reading about it!

John completed the challenge in his target of 6 hours and raised a phenomenal £1255 in the process – thank you so much John for your endurance, creativity continued support!
