Sisters Caitlin and Sophie Mezzetti organised a 10km run along the North Norfolk cliff path on 26th April 2015 with friends Jake Armstrong, Ethan Davies, Noah Downes, Maggie Gentry, Madi Hewitt and Finlay Swanson from North Norfolk Harriers.

Caitlin and Sophie decided to undertake this challenge because they wanted to do something in memory of their cousin Ellen and to raise money for the charity. Their family has raised so much for research and they both wanted to do something to help get that amount higher. As they both started the local Parkrun last May and started training with the Harriers they thought that running was the best way to do it as it is something they both enjoy.

On 2nd April, all the runners went to Morrisons with a treadmill and collection buckets for the day and stood – and ran – there, smiling, for 9 hours raising an amazing amount of £821.07! Thanks to Morrisons’ customers in Cromer for all their generous donations!

The run was a great success, and in total Caitlin, Sophie, Jake, Ethan, Noah, Maggie, Madi and Finlay raised a fantastic total of £2,632.94 in sponsorship. Thanks to all the young runners, the Mezzetti family and friends and to Morrisons’ customers in Cromer for their generous donations!
