This September we’re asking our supporters to take to two wheels and join us for the first-ever ‘Tour de ERUK’!

ERUK fund vital research into epilepsy in over 20 institutions spanning the length of the UK, from Southampton to Edinburgh. To celebrate and support the incredible work of these research centres, we’ve launched the ‘Tour de ERUK’, our very own virtual cycling challenge.

We’re looking for cyclists to ride a section, or the whole, of the 935.1 miles between all the institutions we fund. Whether you want to take on one leg or the whole distance, by yourself or as part of a team – the choice is yours. You’ll have the whole month of September to reach your target. What’s more, if you raise a minimum of £100, we’ll send you a stylish ERUK cycle jersey!

Many of our researchers will be (virtually) pedalling alongside you – we already have teams from UCL, Warwick, Southampton and Cardiff signed up.

Having taken part in the London Marathon, I know how inspiring it is to come together as a community and fundraise for a cause we all believe in. A life free from epilepsy will only be possible through research. I’ll be on my bike thinking of how each mile and each pound will get us closer to new discoveries. Please join me!
Professor Khalid Hamandi, ERUK-funded researcher

With every mile you ride, you’ll be making a huge difference to the lives of people with epilepsy. Please ride for research and help make the ‘Tour de ERUK’ the cycling event of the summer!

If you have any questions, Mehreen is on hand to talk things through and can let you know what fundraising materials we have to support your challenge. Just email mehreen.syed@eruk.org.uk or call 020 3096 7887.

To register for the event please complete the form below and someone from our team will be in touch to confirm the next steps.
