1 IN 26 PEOPLE WILL DEVELOP EPILEPSY IN THEIR LIFETIME
Achieving an early and accurate diagnosis is often not a straightforward process, and NICE estimate that misdiagnosis of epilepsy in the UK costs the NHS approximately £50million per year, with a further £220million in non-medical costs. That is why we have invested almost £1 million into research to achieve earlier diagnosis for people with epilepsy.
