Looking for a new year challenge to get you fired up and fighting fit?

Well, Epilepsy Research UK may have just the thing! Join us this April for the first-ever Brainathlon – an exciting new virtual event in collaboration with our friends at Brain Research UK and Brain Tumour Research.

What do I have to do?

To be one of our first ever Brainathloners (let’s just pretend that’s a word) you must walk 10 miles, run 15 miles, and climb 1.2 miles (or 2500 individual stairs) to complete the total 26.2 miles of the Brainathlon.

Yikes… after all those mince pies I’m not sure I can manage all that…
Don’t panic! If you don’t think you can go it alone you can get your friends and family involved to form a relay team of three.

How long do I have to complete the Brainathlon?

Take on all three events in one day, or during Brainathlon Week (19-25 April) – the choice is yours! With every step you take (cue the ‘Brain Beats’ Spotify playlist, which is actually a thing!) you’ll be raising vital funds for three of the UK’s leading neuro research charities.

So what are you waiting for? Register for the event today and you’ll get immediate access to all areas to the Brainathlon portal, which features everything you need to get started including training tips and our ‘Brain Beats’ Spotify playlist. And if you raise £100 you will receive your specially commissioned Brainathlon medal to show off to your family and friends!

Thank you so much and a very happy new year to you all!
