Today we’re joining our global partners and celebrating International #EpilepsyDay – a special event which promotes awareness of epilepsy in more than 130 countries every year.
This International Epilepsy Day we’re taking the opportunity to highlight some of the vital international collaborations we have funded, thanks to the generosity of our supporters.

Results from our national and international research projects like these are published worldwide and presented at conferences such as the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) Congress. The ILAE is the world’s pre-eminent association of health professionals and scientists working in epilepsy, of which Epilepsy Research UK is a proud member of. You can find out more about the ILAE and our involvement in the organisation here.
