Epilepsy Research UK is the only UK charity exclusively dedicated to driving and enabling life changing, life saving research into epilepsy. Our vision is ‘a life free from epilepsy’. The research projects and fellowships we support are of the highest scientific merit and are subject to rigorous scrutiny, involving a Scientific Advisory Committee, independent expert opinion, interviews and peer review. The pioneering clinical research discovers was to advance the medical care and management of people living with epilepsy and the lab-based scientific projects investigate causes and methods for improved diagnosis, treatment and prevention. We aim to support research that provides help for today and hope for tomorrow.

The organisation has undergone significant transformation in the last two years and is now at the stage where we require an experienced finance or administration manager to support the Chief Executive in day-to-day operations and governance activities. We are seeking someone who will take ownership of all finance and administration tasks and activities and manage the processing and reconciling of fundraising income. Payroll is also outsourced.

We do not anticipate a return to working from the office every day, but a weekly visit to manage incoming post and to attend team meetings and planning sessions will be necessary.
